I’m Emma, 24, and I’m figuring things out one island at a time, usually with more curiosity than certainty. Greece has become my favorite place to do that—not because it’s perfect, but because it doesn’t need to be. I travel slowly, on a budget, and without too much of a plan. I take ferries when they fit my route, linger in places that feel good rather than “important,” and try to spend less money so I can spend more time actually paying attention to where I am.
This blog is a collection of those experiences: quiet mornings in small port towns, beaches reached on foot instead of by rental car, and meals that cost less than expected but end up being the ones I remember most. I’m not here to chase luxury versions of Greece or tick off every famous spot—I’m here for the in-between moments that don’t always make it into guidebooks. If you’re also interested in traveling simply, cheaply, and a little more slowly, you’ll probably feel at home here too.
